About Latino Health Forum

Our Mission

Mission

The Latino Health Forum strives to inform professionals and community members about pertinent issues facing Latino and underrepresented populations to improve the access and quality of health services.

Purpose

The purpose of the annual forum is to address the needs of the Latino community who we serve in our daily health care practices by:

  1. informing professionals and community members about the most relevant challenges facing the Latino population in Sonoma County,
  2. facilitating networking amongst healthcare and other service providers,
  3. raising awareness around the importance of civic engagement amongst underrepresented minority communities, and
  4. creating educational pathways for students to pursue careers in health and social services.
