We are pleased to announce that the 29th Annual Latino Health Forum will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Student Center’s Grand Ballroom at Sonoma State University In Rohnert Park, California. This year’s topic is Health Inequities: The Evolution of the Covid Response, What We’ve Learned & How We Can Heal. Since we are currently opened up from restrictions due to Covid, we are optimistically moving forward in hopes that they will not be reversed before October. At this time, we plan to meet in person, with morning and afternoon workshops (8 total) and exhibitor opportunities.

Over the past 28 years we have all seen firsthand the increase of the Latino population in Sonoma County. The demand for the culturally relevant education provided at the Forum is greater than ever. With your support, the Latino Health Forum will continue to be one of the most educational and informative Latino health care conferences in Northern California.

The goals of the Latino Health Forum are to: Inform healthcare professionals about the most relevant challenges facing the Latino population and the community at large; facilitating networking amongst healthcare and other service providers, raising awareness of civic engagement, and creating educational pathways for students to pursue careers in health and social services. Last year, distinguished keynote speakers discussed critical issues affecting the health and access to health of the Latino population and underserved communities via Zoom.
